My mom gets lost in books all the time; there are stories of her parents forgetting her at family parties because she had quietly removed herself from the action to spend more quality time with the book of the day. I grew up in a home with book shelves in every room and mom and I would spend whole summer days reading together. My love of words is easily traced back to this spectacular woman. There are so many reasons that I am lucky and blessed to have G.Jean as a mother…but this is one of my favorites. Thank you mom, for instilling a love of reading into me.
