A Happy Place

Does anyone else shop local? In the heat of the summer, the heat in the barn can be quite unbearable. With the garage door open, the internet sometimes reaches me. I quite enjoy grabbing a mug of beer and playing shows from the 1990s and 2000s that I have already seen in the background while I “hit metal” (as I like to call the hand stamping process). I helped my husband make his dreams come true last year when we purchased a kegerator for our anniversary. We were missing our favorite local brewery during lock down, and luckily they sell it to us in keg form. We still like to go sit at the outdoor tables and try new beers and perhaps grab a meal. If any of you shoppers are in the Fort Wayne, Indiana area, check out Hop River Brewery; they do good work.
